Structural Features
CCSNMU1 is the thin chip pad in our range. The core puts fluff pulp around absorbent paper, which holds the thickness down at a given absorption figure, and a functional chip sits above the core. The top sheet is hot air nonwoven and the outer film is PE.
| Part | On this build | Other options on the same line | What to write on the order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top layer | Hot air nonwoven surface | Plain or perforated surface, cotton surface on another code | The surface your market reads as premium |
| Core | Absorbent paper with fluff pulp around it | Two white tissue layers, or dust-free paper | The wrap you want named, because it sets the thickness |
| Functional layer | Chip above the core | Two chip types are quoted on this line | Chip type and the claim you intend to print |
| Back film | PE film | Cloth-like film on other builds | The outer feel your market expects |
| Packaging | PE wrapping film, bag count by length | Bag count quoted with the length | Pieces to a bag and cartons per pallet |

1
Pulp around absorbent paper keeps the pad thin at a given absorption figure, and thinness is read differently in different markets. Some buyers sell it as discretion, others read a thin pad as low value. Check which reading applies where you sell before the core is fixed.

The chip is the first part a converter touches when you change chip type, so name the type in the purchase order. The code on the packing list follows that line, and a change after converting starts is a change you pay for twice.
-
3
Absorbent paper and tissue paper are two different parts and both are quoted on this line. A sample request that says paper core without naming which one leaves you comparing two samples that are not the same product.
-
1
Slice one pad through the middle and lay the layers out next to the material table.
-
2
Weigh five pads from one bag and divide by five.
-
3
Pour 20 ml on the centre and look at how far the wet area travels along the pad.
-
4
Keep a pad in a sealed bag for a week, then check whether the chip has moved inside the pad.
This is the thin option in the chip range. The tissue wrapped CCSNM1 pad is a different build, and a maternity pad is a different product. Buyers who need a longer cut should read the 320 mm and 410 mm rows rather than asking for more material on this one.
The table above lists 155 mm to 410 mm with 8 to 20 pieces to a bag. The thin core on this page is quoted against the length you choose, so read the row for your order.
Send the length you sell and the bag count you run, and the CCSNMU1 build comes back priced with the chip you name. A sample cut open to show the core goes out on request, and the CCSNU1 page shows the dust-free paper core in the same range.

Frequently Asked Questions
The core. Fluff pulp surrounds the absorbent paper, which holds the thickness down at a given absorption figure.
Thinness and strength come from different parts, so ask for both samples, cut them open, and compare the layers side by side.
The chip is the layer this code marks. Tell us which version you want and the quotation will follow that build.
The core wrap, the chip type, the surface layer, the overall length, and the bag count. It is recommended to adjust one specification at a time so the performance and cost remain comparable.
You can slice a pad open across the middle to verify internal layers against specifications, average the weight of five pads, conduct a 20 ml liquid dispersion test, and leave a sample sealed for a week to verify chip stability.
