Structural Features
CCADF123 is the build where everything that costs money goes back in: ADL, rear leakage guard, elastic waistband, breathable laminated backsheet and refastenable magic tape. Sizes M to XL, standard absorbency 900 ml to 1,100 ml, comfort build 1,200 ml to 1,600 ml. Each barrier answers a different failure point.
Where leaks start, and what this build puts there
Where it fails |
What this build uses |
Sides, when the user moves |
3D standing gathers, water-repellent nonwoven over spandex |
Back waist edge, when the user lies down |
Rear leakage guard across the back of the core |
Waist gaps with restless sleepers |
Elastic waistband, spandex band in the waist panel |
Surface wetness under body weight |
ADL between topsheet and core, over a double layer core |
Why the waistband matters more here than the ADL
1. Standing gathers only seal if the diaper stays against the body. In a facility where users turn at night, the elastic waistband is what keeps the rear guard on the leak path. Take the waistband out and the other three barriers move with the user.
2. Rear guard plus waist elastic is not the same product as rear guard alone. CCADF12 has the rear guard without the waist elastic. Sample CCADF123 first if your users are mobile or restless.
3. Magic tape keeps the fit adjustable. An elasticated waist and a refastenable tape let staff adjust to a waist measurement between sizes instead of ordering a second SKU.
4. What it costs you. An extra elastic band and a separate rear guard add material and line stations, so the unit price sits above CCADF12. There is no structural saving to point at, only fewer leak events.
Check these in a sample
· Stretch the waistband from the inside: it should recoil evenly along the panel, not in one short section.
· Feel along the back seam for the extra film guard behind the core.
· Close the magic tape on the landing zone three times and confirm it still grips.
· Confirm the ADL sits above the tissue and below the topsheet, as a separate layer.
The standard tier reads M 900 ml / 80 g, L 1,000 ml / 90 g, XL 1,100 ml / 100 g. The comfort tier reads M 1,200 ml / 100 g, L 1,400 ml / 120 g, XL 1,600 ml / 130 g. Sizes S to XXL on request, and base materials and print are open to your specification.
CCADF123 sits above CCADF12 on leak protection and above CCADF1 on comfort. Tell us where the budget stops and we will quote both builds, so you can see what the elastic band and the rear guard add to the price.Upgraded Products
