Structural Features
CCADF12 takes the CCADF1 build and adds a rear leakage guard: same breathable clothlike backfilm, same ADL, same refastenable magic tape, plus a film barrier across the back of the core. Sizes M to XL, 1,200 ml at M to 1,600 ml at XL on the standard build, 1,400 ml to 1,800 ml on the comfort build. It is the SKU we quote for overnight use and for users who sleep on their back.
Where the rear guard earns its cost
1. Back sleepers fail at the rear waist edge first. Urine released while the user lies on their back travels along gravity toward the lower back, where a standard diaper has only the core edge and the waist seal. The rear guard intercepts it before it reaches the waistband.
2. The guard is a barrier, not an absorbent layer. It does not store liquid; it stops liquid that the core has not taken up yet. That is why it sits behind the core rather than in it.
3. It is a two part upgrade from CCADF1. The core, backfilm, waist and tape are unchanged, so a distributor already running CCADF1 can add the rear guard without requalifying the rest of the product. New packaging artwork is the main work.
4. Where this build stops. No elastic waistband, which is CCADF123, and no thickened high absorption core, which is CCADP134. For bedbound users who are repositioned several times a night, sample CCADF123 alongside this one.

Check these in a sample
· Look for the rear guard as a distinct film strip or flap behind the core at the rear panel.
· If you are replacing CCADF1 in your range, confirm the topsheet, ADL, core and backfilm are unchanged and the guard is the only addition.
· Fold the rear panel and check the guard does not crease into the core, which would create a channel.
· Close the magic tape three times on the landing zone, then pull the rear panel apart to see where it releases.
On the standard build, M carries 1,200 ml on an 80 g piece, L 1,400 ml on 90 g, XL 1,600 ml on 100 g. The comfort build lifts that to 1,400 ml at 100 g, 1,600 ml at 120 g and 1,800 ml at 130 g. The range extends to XXL against your sample, with weight, SAP load and print open to your specification.
Ask for the CCADF12 sample pack with the rear guard visible in the cross section photo, or compare it with CCADF123 if the end user turns during the night.

FAQ
-
Q:Where exactly does the rear leakage guard sit?
-
Q:Do I need new artwork to add the rear guard to my existing CCADF1 order?
A:Only packaging artwork. The topsheet, ADL, core, backfilm and tape are the same, so no product requalification is required. -
Q:Is CCADF12 available in XXL?
A:Sizes M to XL are on the standard weight table. Larger sizes including XXL are produced against your sample, with weight and absorbency confirmed before production. -
Q:Can CCADF12 be combined with an elastic waistband?
A:That combination is CCADF123, which adds the elastic waistband and keeps the rear leakage guard. -
Q:Where exactly does the rear leakage guard sit?
A:Across the back of the core, inside the backsheet, above the rear waist edge. It intercepts liquid that the core has not yet taken up before it reaches the waistband. -
